  A directory on a linked device, inside the same dialog as an SSH
  connection's. The device answers `_lembas/directories` itself: with no path,
  its places -- its remote roots and the trusted directories in them; with one,
  the directories in it. Each says whether the device would open a session
  there, by the rule it applies when one is asked for; that rule, not this
  listing, is what decides.

  Names come from somebody else's filesystem: autoescaped, never marked safe.
